Lately I had been to Mysore to visit my cousin and got to have some chat with his dad(my Uncle lets say)
Uncle is say in his 60s and has some health issues as well as some family issues.
He is also acknowledges that the reason why he is in his current situation is because of the things he has done in his prime time.I don’t want to share the things he has shared with me here, but he feels bad for the things that have happened and I keep telling him to accept the reality and move on.
I know that it is quite hard to do it but when one starts to do this and as early as possible it will better for him.
I also had a similar thought on accepting reality few years back when one of the famous actor from our state died. There were a lot of people gathering near his place and a lot of people were crying for his death.
I was wondering why they were feeling sad/crying for him. Birth and death is normal for every living thing.
At the same time I also think that they feel sad/cry for him because of the attachment they’ve to him or maybe because of the good deeds he might have done or maybe because he was a good person.
I’m not sure if I would feel like crying if I lose my parents because I know that they and even I will be going to die at some point. And it would be better for a person to die if he is going through a lot of health issues or other forms of suffering.
My grandma while used to scream a lot while she was on her bed in her old days(80yrs/90yrs forgot), at first we thought she used to yell for no reason. But later we realized that she had bed-sore and we felt bad because she used to have a lot of pain and she was bed ridden.
I felt happy that she died because she doesn’t have to go through the suffering anymore.
So whenever you’re in a certain situation, analyze it and see what is the reality and accept it.
Because its all just mind games(I really don’t know how to convey the things that’s in my head).
P.S. Really sorry if this post hurt anyone’s feelings.
