Fascinating perspective. A question raised about death! And so it happens that I have recently lost my mum brings me to wonder if this is just a chance post. I heard through the perspective have several digressions of thought. A challenge to understand that the human consciousness is collectively an individual and that passing of a single mind is insignificant as the collective common thoughts carry one. The match the idea, I think, it is true that we all feel similar kinds of emotions.

It is confusing to talk about those emotions which can easily be classified into categories when referenced with the individuality of these emotions as a common consciousness.

An individual is who is not fragmented, but since you are all fragmented you are not individuals.

The quote hits me the most. What is the reference to fragmentation here? Does fragmentation mean a person thinking them different from others while in actuality they are just the same as others? Its confusing. I understand that JK may be using the word “Individual” as an analogy to refer to the assumed distinction between human beings by self-proclaimed titles, physical attributes etc.

You may agree, say, ‘Yes, that’s perfectly right’ but you go on acting as individuals. This is such… So ugly, so hypocritical. Now, What is it that dies? You follow what I… If my consciousness is the consciousness of mankind, modified, etc. The consciousness which I think is me, is the common consciousness of man. Right?

How would one gain extraordinary knowledge then Sir @minaminosuechi ? I’d like your help in understanding this perspective. I don’t get this one clearly.

Probably read something he has written or said. I don’t know why you read books. We live on other people’s ideas. Right? We never read the book which is ourselves. We are the history of mankind. … …And that can be done only when the brain is so sharp, so alert, without any motive, without any direction, alert, awake, in which there is no contradiction, no sense of hypocrisy. Then you can read that book

Is this the part that you referred to your citation in your original post text Sir Suechi? I would like to know what did you find out during your journey that took you away from your house seeking answers. What did you realise?

        00:15:48
without even looking at it. The book is over. Then you will find out for yourself what lies beyond the book.

Oh I am so not prepared to self read at the moment. I am clueless on how to even begin.

An individual is who is not fragmented, but since you are all fragmented you are not individuals.

People tend to associate themselves with a nation, country, state, religion, caste, etc and this is fragmenting.

In reality there is just man because rest of the things are created by him and they don’t exist by itself.

Right?

We might get the idea of what he is saying and agree to it and carry on, but one only realizes it only when he is really serious about it. This is what he says.

Me, you and rest of the human beings are all the same.

I go through the same problems that others have, it might be in a different form but the root of it will be the same. This is why he says that the consciousness of which I think is me is the consciousness of a man.

So if I understand myself then its like I understand all of the man.

He feels bad about the fact that people even though listen to these talks and agree on what he says and just carry on with their life as usual which is why he says its ugly.

Its like when a close friend tells his friend that the girl he is dating is cheating but he is blind in love and goes on to be with her even though its toxic (just giving random example here).

When we die everything comes to an end.

Physically the body is burnt/burred and psychologically there are no worries, no jealousy, no anger, no sad, nothing. So when death comes, no matter how much attached you’re to things you’ve to leave it. Can’t this be done while you’re living. Can’t you be dethatched from the things while you’re living?

Is this the part that you referred to your citation in your original post text Sir Suechi? I would like to know what did you find out during your journey that took you away from your house seeking answers. What did you realise?

What I realized is that there is nothing that can help you to figure out your life, it is only you who can do it and even that I’m not sure when will it happen, you just have to observe and be attentive.

What I might say is something from my experience, you might not be able to grasp it because you might not have experienced it.

            Hmm 🤔

Physically the body is burnt/burred and psychologically there are no worries, no jealousy, no anger, no sad, nothing. Let’s say you do it, you get detached somehow. What next? What do we do then? Do we continue to be in that state? Or will I then face questions of the nature that are unimaginable for me at the moment?

nothing that can help you to figure out your life, it is only you who can do it

I was taught a phrase in the early times of my life. It went like “God help those who help themselves”. I normally used to laugh at the statement and assumed that if we are to help ourselves and its working out then we would need God’s help in the first place. Well, I now think it’s not about that. I think it is about the pretext that when you start helping yourselves about a goal then God presents you with avenues that you may not have anticipated in the first place. Does this mean, divine intervention; don’t know. I don’t have facts to deny it, so I will agree to it for now.

You will come to know of it only when you will be in that state because you can sit and think of the possibilities with the idea that you’ve got but in reality what would happen? You will only know when you do it.

                I understand.

Quick question: have you experienced that state? I’m not asking what you experienced, just that if you have experienced it?

A fish might not know that it is in the water.

This is what I could say.
