A fish might not know that it is in the water.
This is what I could say.

Let’s say you do it, you get detached somehow. What next? What do we do then? Do we continue to be in that state? Or will I then face questions of the nature that are unimaginable for me at the moment?
You will come to know of it only when you will be in that state because you can sit and think of the possibilities with the idea that you’ve got but in reality what would happen? You will only know when you do it.
An individual is who is not fragmented, but since you are all fragmented you are not individuals.
People tend to associate themselves with a nation, country, state, religion, caste, etc and this is fragmenting.
In reality there is just man because rest of the things are created by him and they don’t exist by itself.
You may agree, say, ‘Yes, that’s perfectly right’ but you go on acting as individuals. This is such… So ugly, so hypocritical. Now, What is it that dies? You follow what I… If my consciousness is the consciousness of mankind, modified, etc. The consciousness which I think is me, is the common consciousness of man. Right?
We might get the idea of what he is saying and agree to it and carry on, but one only realizes it only when he is really serious about it. This is what he says.
Me, you and rest of the human beings are all the same.
I go through the same problems that others have, it might be in a different form but the root of it will be the same. This is why he says that the consciousness of which I think is me is the consciousness of a man.
So if I understand myself then its like I understand all of the man.
He feels bad about the fact that people even though listen to these talks and agree on what he says and just carry on with their life as usual which is why he says its ugly.
Its like when a close friend tells his friend that the girl he is dating is cheating but he is blind in love and goes on to be with her even though its toxic (just giving random example here).
When we die everything comes to an end.
Physically the body is burnt/burred and psychologically there are no worries, no jealousy, no anger, no sad, nothing. So when death comes, no matter how much attached you’re to things you’ve to leave it. Can’t this be done while you’re living. Can’t you be dethatched from the things while you’re living?
Is this the part that you referred to your citation in your original post text Sir Suechi? I would like to know what did you find out during your journey that took you away from your house seeking answers. What did you realise?
What I realized is that there is nothing that can help you to figure out your life, it is only you who can do it and even that I’m not sure when will it happen, you just have to observe and be attentive.
What I might say is something from my experience, you might not be able to grasp it because you might not have experienced it.
Hope this helps
Oh okay, I had to turn off the quote to write in normal text.. got it.. thanks 👍🏿
<p style=”text-align: center;”>These are unfair expectations but they are not going to leave you anytime soon.</p>
Well, have to see about this 🙂
Also idk how you quote things, tried my best here to do it.
I understand your point.
My parents are not that demanding and are supportive to my current lifestyle and they just want me to be in good condition that’s all.
It’s hard to convey what exactly I have in my mind.
The job anology you gave, in that, I have personally joined the job so I have to do my duties there irrespectively.
But in the other case it’s more like the owner of the company has created a job vacancy and is mad at me for not applying for the job
@dholu I have watched the whole video before and yes its a good discussion amongst the kids.
Yes the world is corrupt and the only thing one can do is try to understand himself and solve his issues and then try to help others with it.
In gym’s people would have been in a bad shape & got to a better shape which is why I believe there is not much comparisons happening there but mostly motivation.
This is just my speculation because I have not been to gyms. When it comes to power & money it comes down to the person as to what he wants to do with it, which is why it is important to know oneself first.
About humility, I think what he means is that when you’re humble by nature and not forcefully doing it you tend to listen or pay attention to things which makes you learn a lot.
J.K. does refer to poor in all terms – status, financial, etc. At some point in the discussion he does mention that if one only earns just enough for his survival it is enough. Reason why he emphasized on the poor part is because society looks poor in different way and this forces people to do things which they might not like. He is just saying that it is okay to live how you want to live and not care what others think of your situation.
When you make decisions in your life you need to take responsibility for it. If you have decided to bring in a partner in your life and have a family then you’re supposed to take care of them or atleast provide them the basic survival. Rest would have to be communicated with the partner on how you live your life.
I think in the current world we are in, we can monetize any talents/skills, you’ve also shared an experience of how you followed your passion and how you earned from it.
As long as you have a good relationship with money everything will be good. You have to know why you’re doing something and be clear with it.
@dholu Yes, since you’re approaching without any outcomes of what the other person might do meaning that you’re keeping no expectations, so you’re open to anything that happens and will be acting up on that.
If you look into ‘why you’re not able to make the decisions?’ you should come up with the answer for it.
