It seems nice to know how simple this quote can be. However, what is the way to forgive? Do we ever forget? What future are we talking about? Is it by the end of the day when I sleep or does it go beyond the span of the present? I wonder!!!

Thanks for the guidance. Please enlighten me further. How can I not dig deep. How would even understand anything if not think about it. How do I refine upon data? There has to be some use for the minds processing power?
You are absolutely right to say about focusing on present. I am having some ideas about doing this. Still not concrete but solid enough.
I cannot comprehend your statement about non existing past and future. If not then what purpose does memory serve. What time frame does memory relate to?
Is it like language where we memorise the format and use it to converse in the present? Is that what it is? But even so, a relation to past must be established.
For future I agree, but I am feel hardship in acknowledging non existence of past.

And we tend to live our lives in the past or future where in reality present is where we should be living in.
I certainly agree to your estimation. However what about the responsibilities that are bestowed upon me? Should I give them up as they do not pertain to me but with others.

I finding it hard to understand. Example, upon loss of my Mum, I need to anticipate the financial and documental impacts. How can I get along without thinking about it? I need to plan and execute that task.
There are two things, physical and mental ones.. physical ones are to be carried, the mental ones are not.
Example, many people get mentally affected when they lose someone dear to them and won’t be able to get over it.
Please explain more. I think I’m getting it.
Thoughts are required to function day to day.
I need to know your name to interact with you, I need to know/remember how to drive a vehicle, I need to know where I live.
This is where the thought of mind could be used.
Psychologically thought is of no use because it’s not reality, it’s just speculation.
Example, you’re locked in a dark room and someone has told you that there might or are snakes in the room.
You’re scared of snakes and you have it in your mind.. you step on a rope and assume it to be snake and get scared more.
So basically you’re getting scared in your mind because of the things being said to you and you thinking about it.
Maybe if no one said you about the snake stuff, you wouldn’t be that much worried.
I see your point for upcoming situations.
Let’s say they did say snake. How do you deal with it afterwards after knowing that thought has manifested?
If the thought has manifested then you have to act accordingly, nothing can be done I guess.
Maybe you could try to tell yourself to forget what was told and try to be in that moment.
Or think what could be the worst case scenario & be prepared for it and yolo 🙂
