Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect Two is a significant improvement over the first game. The storyline is deep and the world building seems amazing. It build upon part one of the game and makes you play the flip side of the coin there you join the said enemy forces but acting towards the greater good. I kept myself on the path of Paragon and essentially tried to be the good person overall.

My most enjoyable thing in the game:
The most enjoyable time for me was interactions with the characters that were introduced in the game. This was further topped by squad selection where I had to choose two members from about twelve squad member options. Each member of the squad felt unique. It actually mattered to me who I took in to each missions, not for powers, I mean yes for that too but also via gut feel.

The world:
Another fun thing was the planet scanning mini game. I recall spending hours to look for rare minerals or elements. I have to say resources was never a problem with the game. I found sufficient resources to last the entire play through but the whole act of scanning planets was fun.

Favourite Ally:
I found myself falling for Jack. In the beginning I sought out Ashley Williams but I came across Jack and somehow kept drawing towards her. She appeals to my inner spark. I simply could not resist from trying to get to know her. Hear her tantrums and attempts to push me away. I simply did not sway and ended up locking a love connection with her.

Conclusion:
I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game. Mass effect 2 has emotionally connected with me. This particular title has been about the characters in the game. Yes it was more about my squamates and their connection with me than the actual story. I invested a huge amount of time to make sure that all the squamates survives in the end and I actually got success with that. This game was more people than story itself, even if they were the enemy.
