I recently came across a fascinating perspective from a working independent woman. The discussion was about marriage focusing on when and why.

The perspective was:

If one spouse can take care and provide for the other spouse then the other spouse can choose not to work and can shoulder the burden of additional family's tantrums and pressures.
But if the other spouse has to work anyways alongside to fulfil the obligations of marriage and added family fiasco then there is no point to marry in the first place and continue working and forming their own lives.

I am curious to know what others may seem to think about this. Or is this already happening?
