It's a simple thing to understand it verbally or intellectually but hard to realise.

P.S. you can skip to 19:20 for the dialogue from where I summarised the title.

🤔. So I have listened to this video for about 10 times now and I am not able to understand much about it.

P.S. you can skip to 19:20 for the dialogue from where I summarised the title.

To bring the end into life. What does it truly mean. If not thought then would I even be having this blog? Is meant by thought in the right place?

Does it imply imagination is thought placed bad? Then how would we have a book to read or a phone to type on or even a language to speak if not imagined in the first place.

i cannot see a line between a well placed and a misplaced thought…!!!!

Help!!!!!

Thought is basically memory/knowledge

Two types of thoughts: Physical and mental.

Physical is needed to live/survive.
Mental is non-needed, its the one that causes problems also its not real.

Physical thought:

I need to know how to read a book, drive a car, my house address etc this is gathered as knowledge and I need this information or knowledge to function in the world.

Mental thought:

Speculations basically, what if this might happen, etc.. its all unreal and we can know the result only after we take the action.

To bring the end into life.

To keep things simple... see it this way, when a person dies his body gets burnt/burried etc. Similarly the brain also stops functioning.

When he is living, he might have lot of greed/anger/pain/suffering/joy/stress about his company/family, etc.. when he dies.. all that comes to an end doesn't it?
It comes to an end because his brain shuts off and these things that i mentioned above happens because of the activity of the thought.

So, can one not put an end to this when he is alive? Meaning that can he not turn off the thoughts or see the things as it is.

If he is greedy & he observes this fact then he wont have any problems. Similarly with other forms of feelings.

I will give u an example of mine.

I want to do yoga in the morning but when I wake up and decide to yoga.. my brain starts to think of the pain I would have to go through while doing yoga, and other things for long time.
Instead of thinking all that I could have finished doing the yoga, because whatever it thinks is useless.

So I just shut my thoughts and just go start doing yoga.

I understand. It means you must empty your cup before it can be filled again with something new.

Yes, because we have only been taking in things that has been fed to us. To see or experience something new we need to keep aside these things.
