Core Keeper came as welcome surprise with the PS plus pass. I recall watching a few videos about this game and have wanted to play it for sometime now. So I gave it a try.
With immediate effect the game looked like Stardew Valley. Soon found out it wasn’t the case. Combat is an essential element of the game.
I spent a few days playing the game and eventually got bored of it. Yes that is true, I got bored of it. I began to feel a same gameplay loop. Find a new biome, get newer resources, upgrade the weapons and gear fight a boss, rinse and repeat. Got boring fast. So I quit mid way and I don’t really think I will be playing it again.
